These are the techniques that we use with every site we create. They are basic techniques that work most of the time with the right keywords.

Determine your target market - Before you develop your site, it is important to consider who will be visiting and develop your content accordingly. You are writing the content for the visitor, but you will also want to consider what that visitor will be typing to search engines to find you.

Keyword Phrases - These are the phrases that people type into search engines to find you. We use a program called Word Tracker to help us determine what people are searching for in order to find the keyword phrases that will benefit you most.

Content Writing - Once you have determined a few keyword phrases that work best for you, you will write the content for your site keeping those in mind. We will edit your copy in order to make better use of those search terms where we think is best.

Titles, Meta Tags, and Alt Tags - Every single page of your site will utilize proper titles, meta tags and alt tags to better optimize your page for the search terms you have chosen.

Link Popularity - Every page on your site will contain textual links to other pages within your site. We also utilize a site map. This makes it easier for the search engine spider to find all the pages on your site. We also recommend that our clients find other sites to link to that have similar content.  These should be legitimate links (not link farms or free for all sites) that offer good content that might actually benefit your site user. After linking to other sites, we recommend that our clients send an e-mail to the webmasters of those sites requesting a link in return. The links in return will help your link popularity and increase your rank on search engines such as Google.
